History in the making.
The Stanhope Arms is a beautiful family run country pub situated in the heart of Brasted, next to the local church, St. Martins.
The pub is named after the lord of the manor, General Stanhope, who went on to become Earl Stanhope. We have a large garden and separate barn available for parties and weddings and we have frequent live entertainment.
There’s also a garden to explore in summer, complete with a traditional bat and trap pitch when you want to make your own entertainment.
The roaring log fire in the winter is a sought after area as customers enjoy delicious home cooked cuisine and cask ales. Including award winning brews from local Westerham Brewery.
We welcome locals, tourists, cyclists, motorcyclists and walkers alike. Come and say hello. We look forward to welcoming you.
